A polished cast iron fireplace in the mid 18th century style. The barrel frieze with flowing oak leaves and cross banded ribbon to centre. The jambs with scrollwork throughout with egg-and-tongue and rope moulding embellishments. Substantial moulded shelf above. English, 20th century.
