A very unusual cast iron fireplace insert by Thomas Jeckyll. The reeded background with finely cast rosettes of varying decoration. Plain front bars. Currently without interiors but addition of which are included in price. Thomas Jeckyll was one of the leading architects of the Aesthetic Movement from which this design was created with Anglo-Japanese inspiration. Late 19th century.
