An English, mid 18th century polished steel firegrate. The pierced, guilloche fret with cut steel paterae and surmounted by shaped front bars above. The cylindrical legs surmounted by urn finials and shaped top bar. Wrought iron front panels and square cast iron back. Nice patina throughout, a fine piece.
